Explore the 140 mile tributary of Coeur d’Alene Lake in northern Idaho. Beginning at an elevation of 6,487 feet, the St. Joe River flows west, through the community of Avery, Idaho, past Calder, where it receives its largest tributary, the Saint Maries River. With a mouth elevation of 2,129 feet, the St. Joe River is the highest navigable river in the world. And if fly fishing is your passion, the St. Joe River has been declared a Blue-Ribbon trout stream, making this tributary the perfect destination to connect with nature. Come get hooked!
